Capacity Building is Ekuinas’ strategic initiative to strengthen and accelerate the growth of lower mid-market Bumiputera companies through tailored Value Creation Plans (VCPs), designed to empower businesses to scale sustainably, become investor-ready, and access capital.
Capacity Building reflects our continued commitment to uplifting the Bumiputera economy in a structured, measurable, and impactful way. It enables us to go beyond capital by building resilient businesses capable of standing on their own, competing strategically, and scaling on their own terms.
Supporting the Next Generation of Bumiputera Champions
Over a 3-year period, selected companies will receive strategic interventions through 6 key business fundamentals, anchored with transformational leadership and investor enablement initiatives to unlock access to new capital and markets:
All VCPs are implemented through best-in-class partners and overseen by a dedicated Capacity Building team comprising investment professionals and subject matter experts. Our goal is to ensure participating companies become investment-ready, opening doors to new capital and new markets.
Pathway to Scaling Success
We welcome applications from Malaysian Bumiputera-owned companies that meet the following eligibility requirements:
Generate between RM15 million to RM50 million in annual revenue
Demonstrate consistent profitability and a clear ambition to grow
A minimum 3-year operating track record
Operate in sectors with low Bumiputera participation
